WONIKPNE-SOLUM, Renewable energy power conversion technology MOU
WONIKPNE and SOLUM announced on September 15th,
WONIKPNE in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, signed an MOU for technological cooperation
in renewable energy power conversion technology.
The two companies jointly develop and commercialize charger power modules for electric vehicles.
The miniaturization and high density of power converters for
secondary battery chargers and dischargers are also promoted.
WONIKPNE is a company specializing in battery post-process production facilities and inspection equipment.
It supplies facilities to global battery manufacturers as well as three domestic battery companies.
WONIPNE has PNE Systems, a company specializing in the manufacture of electric vehicle chargers, as a subsidiary.
An official from WONIKPNE said, “The two companies will expand the new and renewable energy business by cooperating based on their expertise and technology in each field. We will become a company that practices structural (ESG) management.”
