WONIK PNE-PMGROW Development Project for EV Battery Evaluation System MOU
WONIK PNE and PMGROW plan to develop a next-generation electric vehicle battery evaluation system.
WONIK PNE and PMGROW exchanged a business agreement (MOU) for joint development cooperation at Wonik PNE's Suwon headquarters on the 10th. They plan to launch 2-3 new products and explore overseas markets such as the US and Europe.
The next-generation battery evaluation system has increased the accuracy of battery remaining life inspection speed and evaluation. It provides an optimized system for users.
Wonik PNE applied artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm technology to the electric vehicle battery operation data accumulated by PMGROW over the past 10 years, combining it with battery research and development (R&D) evaluation technology.
Park Jae-hong, CEO of pmgrow said, “As the electric vehicle market is growing rapidly, customer demand for fast and accurate battery inspection and evaluation is increasing.” He added, "Battery industry software companies and battery equipment solution companies will come together to create competitive products."
Park Dong-chan, CEO of Wonik PNE, said, “The evaluation equipment market will expand beyond battery manufacturing facilities. The need for evaluating batteries after electric vehicle use will increase, and the two companies will cooperate to dominate the early market and contribute to market expansion."
